A soprano creates a warm and rich mellow sound coming from the middle part, the sharp and harsh frequencies come from the bell. The LCM80 has two mics at the right places and is precisely balanced. In this way you will get a perfect reproduction of the whole sound spectrum of the instrument. Both adjustable elements are mounted completely shock-free and have exchangeable clamps for different soprano- models.
Our LCM80EW model, with two mics positioned above the instrument, produces an extra warm sound while it doesn't amplify the sharper sound coming from the bell.
DM double-mike preamp is Standard is included. It can also adjust the level between mid and top mic
specs mid mic:
Type: condenser pressure microphone. Polar pattern: omni-directional. Frequency response: 20-20.000 Hz. Sensitivity at 1 kHz: 10 mV/Pa ± 2,5 dB. Signal to Noise ratio 58 dB.
